I'm a software engineer who's been actively programming since I was 7. I like to advocate for open-source, self-hosted, and privacy respecting software practices.

Professionally, I design and build software at AWS. Some things I've enjoyed doing in that capacity are:

• designing and leading a team to build a system to merge multiple large-scale data dashboards. It constructs and reconciles large depencency graphs to re-use (or additively modify) datasets, calculated columns, filters, and parameters while guaranteeing data correctness.
• designing and building a distributed pixel-perfect rendering engine that is responsible for creating enterprise-grade reports with lots of nice graphs, which is used by many fortune 500 companies.
• generally working deeply with headless browsers, their performance, orchestration, and surrounding technologies. I've advised a few AWS services on browser performance. I've also contributed to Google's Puppeteer project.
